T+ Medical Win

An Oxford company that has developed a disease-monitoring system for use on mobile phones has brought in Lexis PR. The firm, t+Medical, is to use the agency to under-take a media relations drive for its technology – a range of ‘user-friendly systems’ aimed at those with ashama, diabetes and high blood-pressure. The technology, which works by cable or Bluetooth, allows parents to easily monitor their child’s blood-sugar levels, for example. Lexis’s brief covers healthcare professional, consumer and corporate PR. The agency’s head of business communications Lynda Redingont leads an account team of four staff. The firm is believed to have seen off one undisclosed agency local to Oxford to secure the brief. It is retained on an initial one-year contract, reporting to t+Medical marketing director Tracey Walker. Source: PR Week
